Once completed this software upgrade allows you to change your own speed using the Shimano E-Tube App on your mobile phone. You can easily choose any speed between 25km/h and 32km/h or 25km/h and 45km/h.
This also can be reversed back to factory settings for any possible future warranty repair claims.

Derestrict and Unlock your Shimano Steps EP6 & EP801 Drive Motor
Key features of the Standard Upgrade are:
Unlock the 25km/h Speed Restrictions of your E-Bike to a maximum of 45km/h.
Choose from Unlock 32 or Unlock 45.
While still retaining the correct Speedo reading on your Shimano Steps Display.
No hardware installation required all done via laptop computer.
No delivery costs of dongles or chips.
No Shimano Error 299.
Once your eBike is unlocked it rides like it should have direct from the factory!
Can be simply reversed back to factory settings easily for any possible future warranty repair claims.
Upgrade now only available by appointments booked in advance and performed between 6pm and 10pm weeknights.
